Here's today's only selection for Horses that could Run Well - 12-50 Ling.

12-50 Ling - Monaco Dream - 14/1
Unraced 3yo, but by Hawk Wing and this pedigree alone is significant but what we have to trust
in and hope is that this filly is fit & ready to do justice...
If so, it might just run on late into a Place...
I will be happy for a place at the price.
Trainer has come here with just this runner at lingfield & has the services of the accomplished
enough jockey Dane O Neil - so I am hoping the combination can mean business..!
I hope so anyway - I will have a very small win bet and slightly bigger Place bet on this one
and hope for the best.

* Just come in 3rd - @ 8/1 - was 10/1 earlier...!!!!!

* I got 3.18 for a Place & for £20 Place made a Profit of £43-60

4-10 Ling - Pentre D'Argent - 7/1 - 3rd @ 8/1 - earlier & was the subject of a Major Gamble - backed right into 4/1....!
* This one is another I like on breeding. Nothing is certain in a race like this where there are 3yo involved, but should they go a good clip and the race is run at a good tempo, it may help
Peintre D'Argent - but for obvious reasons I cannot be too certain that this horse will run
well - these horses are still learning their main job


* The Place Price was 2.7

Keep a close eye on the betting on these 2. I like them.

Not sure if he can get into a place, but I like the Jockey and IF he has luck in running, you could see this one in the
frame for a place......

1-55 Wolv - Super Sensation - 6/1 - Lost
* I am of the opinion, that this horse although has been off the track for 560 days, could well spring back
to life today for the very talented trainer G.Moore. But for obvious reasons I cannot be too certain BUT I believe
this son of Platini could well get into a Plae if not win.
My only niggling doubt is about the Jockey - Joshua Moore riding - I have seen this jockey before several times
and he is an amateur in the real sense of the word like all the other jocks in the race, but I am not overly
impressed by him. IF this jockey was good, I would have given this an 'A' rated, but I am holding back.
It has a chance of being placed IF fully fit.
The Jockey is 0 wins from 4 this season on ALL rides....! so not sure for win purposes.

Just hope for the best that the jockey gives this one a good ride...my only big concern..! Wish it was a better jockey riding..!


3-00 Wolv - Black Attack - 10/1 - Lost
* This 3yo colt by Invincible Spirit has never won in 7 outings ever, but today with the application of Blinkers
& perhaps a combination of a good jockey on board & at 10/1 makes it as a possible value bet for Horses Run
Well column. Is the total complete outsider - but may just get into a place BUT warning - ONLY 7 runners =
Only 2 places paid out -s o not good in that sense. Have a tiny place bet.

of a Place if luck is with us...! He has previously won 1 mile or longer distance races....

* This horse is the only representative of the trainer Mrs. E Slack at this course today
This same trainer & horse won this very same race last year off 6lbs lower, but all the
same - this being a Handicap Chase any mistakes by the others could pave the way
for this one to take advantage.
I can't say this is rock solid - but this trainer appears to be trying to win this race for
the 2nd year running - so shall we help ourselves using small stakes..?
I am using small stakes as you never know....
Have a small Place bet as well - we can hope for a place at the very least - hopefully..!

Won this race last year but dependibility is not his name and cannot be relied
upon to produce the goods this time around but you can never say no chance for one of this type...
Hence gets a mention but this very tough competitive event...! wow

Another one placed for Run Well Horses although not such a good price, but was available at 6/1 earlier.

Place was 2.16 approx. near the off.

Another 2 given, but Wicked Daze didn't do much in the clsoing stages, but Gala Evening ran on really well to be placed 2nd @ 8/1...!

Fit from hurdling and runs well at Kempton. So should be in the mix
although the worry here is a big field and quite a few runners are a bit
unknown....
Has a 100% record for this course over C & D....! 3 times.....!!!!! but is up in class today.

Another in the same race who could run well. Complete outsider and maybe
he hasn't got a chance in most people's eyes, but I am willing to give him a tiny chance for a place - just hope for the best..! I have grounds for looking and picking this one but cannot be too certain as he has not run for 140 days

Still - it was good that I was able to pick this horse out early and it was the subject of a huge gamble - shame it didn't come off.!

Never mind - we have had a very good day with a 33/1 Placed horse under Longshots & 2 Placed horses under Run Well.

& the form has been given a good boost by a winner yesterday who was behind Clerks Choice
last time.
Also this gelding won in a fast time last time out & ground will suit and looks like distance will suit him well as well.
Only quetsion remains is the competition which is very hot for this race but at 16/1 it is a big price to ignore.
Worth a small each way interest.
If it loses, you ain't lost a lot.

I have just noticed a horse running today which I think could well have a good chance of being placed...!

I am giving it my Top 'A' Rated as I do think a lot about it.

However - it is no easy task as others in race also very good.


It runs in the 4-10 Newcastle.

Lakeman - trained by Brian Ellison - F/C 7/1 - Lost

* This horse is by the great horse Tillerman on whom a while back I won £750-00 to a £50 stake..! Tillerman was it's sire and that horse was brilliant.

* The key to this horse is the ground and today the ground is just right and with bottomweight and the jockey taking another 7lbs off, and IF the others flounder or run below their best, the gate will open for this one...

* So - have a small nibble each way or small win & place on Lakeman in the 4-10 Newcastle.

It is currently showing as - 13.0 for a Win & 3.5 for a Place.

Just use Small stakes in case it fails to do anything ok..

Again a first time out but has to be considered as this a weak looking race.

Not a strong recommendation by any means because no recent form
on evidence, but good jockey booking hightens interest and very few runs
as well for this horse and maybe this trip is more suitable.
On the downside - never won over this distance or the course and not
run for 360 days..!
But - could have a squeak for a place.


Gave this out earlier...

It opened at 11/1 and has been backed in all the way to 4/1 now....!

even if it doesn;t win - just look at that...

I picked it out and I also had the early prices of 18.5 etc...

and now it is only 5.3 on Betfair..!

I just hope it does the business - It Lost...!

2-40 Hamilton - Kerry's Requim - f/c 12/1 - 2nd @ 6/1 ;D
No one is saying this will win this race. For a start it is a 6f sprint.
So anything can happen and looking at it's past form, it was twice where
this Kings Best filly was hampered in the closing stages in similar sort
of handicap sprint races.
Just when it was getting going it was badly hampered the first time
and didn't get the clearest of runs the 2nd time.
Yes there are better horses than this one in the race BUT just imagine
IF the others were to let everyone down, this one could have a small
chance and possibly a Place chance.
And for the price of 12/1 it may be worth a tiny interest.

* Shame about 4 Non Runners including the Fav. otherwise we would have had a very good price about Kerry's Requiem - 2nd @ 6/1

Paid 1.96 for a Place - was bigger earlier..!

In a rubbish low class race such as this, Piquante could well capitalise
IF young Hayley Turner can get more out of this one.
Very lightly raced, never won or placed in it's life, but comes from a good
family and also from a good stable.
Only had 6 runs on Turf so far.
Only a 3yo and improvement may well be on the cards with today's distance.
In fact I like this one quite a lot.
Have a small each way on this and hope for the best.!

4-30 Exeter - Clyffe Hanger - 9/2 - 3rd @ 9/2
Not much of a price when you consider that each of the horses including this one has to jump quite a few hurdles on their marathon trip of nearly 3 miles in good to soft going.
But this one looks to have the credentials for a possible good run & I am happy that it could run a
fairly good race but have to say it is a very competitive field and one or two are hidden unknowns, who could spring a surprise.
At 9/2 - little value so make sure you stick to the minimum stake and go for at least a Place bet.
Not sure if this one can win but has a chance on paper.

* What a Fantastic opportunity and a beauty..!
Gave it out early in the morning and then more than 6 hrs later, it romped home to win...! ;D

* Even the Place price was too good 1.81 & later at 2.02

* I just hope plenty of people were on this one...


* That's exactly how it turned out to be....Greg Fairly pushed this horse after the last bend and then with slow and steady but powerful withering run, Nave worn down the eventual second horse...to and go and record a win.



6-50 Kempt - Nave - 7/1 - Won @ 9/2 earlier - ended up at 3/1
This 2yo colt by Pulpit, represents a good yard and the breeding also suggests that this one will be at home on this surface, and has the advantage of experience & having already run at Kempton previously although not proven in trip over this 1 mileof today's, I expect that IF the good jockey on board = young Greg Fairly who is a fairly
strong jockey, can push him well turning the final bend, we may see this get Placed at the very least.
I do think this one ought to be able to do better today but we do have 13 runners in this race.
Could be good for a Place at least.
At present the Place Odds are 1.82 & Win Odds are 5.0

and with a low weight & on SOFT Ground, could be in the mix at the business
end of the race...??
At 12/1 might be worth a small try each way.

wow - was closing very fast in the end but never got there...
came in 4th and what a shame,...!

I think jockey kept him too far back..

BUT the good news is - it opened at 12/1 and was backed in all the way into 15/2....!

That goes to show we were not alone in thinking that this one was a 'prepared horse' ready to lad something..

But a real shame the jockey never put the horse into the race..! :mad:

Now, I can't be certain with these types I pick out because they are to be frank - totally
unfancied and have no recent good form etc.
No one has tipped this one and possibly because of good reasons known to themselves only.
However - my view is slightly different to theirs and I am willing to take a small Each way risk
in the hope that this one is now being cleverly placed by it's trainer.
Make NO mistake that this race contains some very good horses and this one is way down the pecking
order.
But I have my own reasons to believe that IF the trainer has got this one ready for today, it may do something
and if not for a win then a place will do for me.
Currently showing as 15.5 for a Win & 4.5 for a Place
Cannot be certain as others look stronger but I am hoping this one will be trying at least.......

2-30 Southwell - Westwood - f/c 8/1 - opened 7/1 & was backed in & nearly Won - came in 2nd @ 6/1 - paid 3.6 for a Place....!!!!!

His form figures read: 0707-00
Doesn't tell you anything really or how good this horse is.
But he can run a good 6 furlongs race at Southwell.
Should be well up there from the beginning unless he stumbles out of the stalls late.
This son of Captain Rio will be there hopefully in the end even if it is for a place I hope.
Keep an eye on the betting and If it is supported, then have a little on it yourself.
I think he has a small chance but as always in a sprint we have to step cautiously.

Dangers or Likely to Run Well Horses


* F%$£*in Hell...! We nearly won the race but for the horse getting stuck behind a wall of horses a furlong out..! and it was flying at the end and managed to pinch a Place - came in 3rd ..!

Aaaaarrrggghghhhhhhhhhhhh......................! Frustrating that is as it should have won easily and would have won had the jockey not got behind the other horses..! Aaaaarrrggghghhhhhhhhhhhh......................!



1-10 Lingfield - Romantic Queen - f/c 8/1 - 3rd @ 12/1 - Place money at least..!
This race is a sprint race of 6f & that means we need a fast getaway
from the stalls & a bit of luck as well.
If we have both, then we have a horse here who could just pinch a place
I have a feeling this horse can run well today - so keep an eye on the betting.
Might come in for support because I am sure the trainer knows what he has got
with this horse.
Good value as well and apart from being hopeful for a place, I hope he can go one
step further & win as well. But quite a few in there who have a chance.

Once again a sprint race in which any slow breaks from the stalls would mean
the end.
I like this one and I have an inling that this one can get into Place money for us.
So have a small Place bet on this one.
